A premium electric car is a big purchase. If you want a clear list of what to check before you sign, this article is for you. We explain each point in plain words. We also show how the AVATR lineup fits.

Start With Your Daily Routine
Before you read a brochure, look at your week. A car should fit your life, not the other way around. Ask yourself a few simple questions:
- How far do I drive each day?
- Do I take long highway trips?
- Can I charge at home or at work?
- How many people ride with me?
- Do I park in tight garages often?
Your answers shape which model makes sense. A short city commute asks for different things than a weekly drive between emirates.
Write your answers down. Bring them to the showroom. Our team can then point you to the right trim faster.
Decide on the Drivetrain
This is the first big choice. AVATR offers two kinds of drivetrain. Each one suits a different driver.
Fully Electric
The AVATR 11 and AVATR 12 run on electric power only. They have no engine. So they do not need oil changes.
This is the simplest setup to understand. You charge the battery. You drive. Other upkeep still applies, such as tires and brakes. Our service team can explain it.
REEV
The AVATR 07 uses REEV technology. An electric drive moves the car. A range-extender engine adds flexibility for longer trips.
Because it has an engine, it needs engine-related maintenance. It is not a “no oil change” model. We want you to know this before you buy.
Neither choice is right for everyone. It depends on how you drive and where you charge.
Look Closely at the Cabin
A premium car should feel good inside. Sit in every seat. Check the screens. Try the controls. Spend more than five minutes.
- The AVATR 07 has a 35.4-inch 4K screen and a 15.6-inch central screen.
- The AVATR 07 also has a rear armrest touchscreen and a panoramic glass roof.
- The AVATR 11 offers interiors in Elite Red, Lavender Snow, Elite Black and Grey Snow.
- The AVATR 12 offers Elite Black, Lavender Snow and Sporty Blue.
Ask to see the colors in daylight. Showroom lights can change how a color looks. Check how the seats feel on a longer sit, too.
Check Range Claims with Care
Every brand lists a range figure. These figures come from lab tests. Real range changes with speed, heat, air conditioning and load.
Here are the NEDC figures from our product materials:
- AVATR 11: 625 km
- AVATR 12: 650 km
- AVATR 07 Premium RWD: 932 km total range
We keep the AVATR 07 numbers apart. The 932 km figure belongs to the RWD trim. The 500 hp and 595 Nm figures belong to the AWD trim. Mixing them would give a wrong picture.
Use range numbers to compare models. Do not treat them as a promise.
Compare Performance
Power matters to many buyers. Here are the figures we hold:
- AVATR 11: 570 hp, 650 Nm, 0 to 100 km/h in about 4.5 seconds
- AVATR 07 Performance AWD: 500 hp, 595 Nm, about 5.5 seconds
- AVATR 07 Premium RWD: 310 hp, 333 Nm, about 7.1 seconds
Feel the difference on the road. A number cannot show how a car responds to your foot. Drive two trims back-to-back if you can.
